Around the world and back in 29 beats,

PDX2MUC is a collaboration between ThirstyCity and Bumm Clack records. Although we are separated by vast amounts of distance and boarders, we find a common thread of culture through instrumental loops and breaks. Sampled sounds from the past echo into the future, making us realize music transcends the landscape of time and place. A common thread branching together the human experience, music connects us in ways we can't label with words.

PDX2MUC is a fragment of time captured from two places and two very unique scenes. Through this project we take a glimpse at the growth of a specific genre, and also the development of two stages with a similar focus.

As the world turns, so do the reels of magnetic tape that these two cities have brought together. The perfect companion to rotate through your daily travels and activities.

Einmal um die Welt und zurück in 29 Beats.

PDX2MUC ist ein gemeinsames Projekt von Thirsty City (Portland, USA) und Bumm Clack (München, GER). Trotz der großen Entfernung, die uns trennt, finden wir einen gemeinsamen Nenner in Loops, Breaks und Beats. Gesamplete Sounds aus der Vergangenheit bereichern die Zukunft und zeigen uns, dass die Musik die Grenzen aus Zeit und Raum locker überschreitet. Ein gemeinsamer Nenner, der uns als Menschen zusammenführt. Im Mittelpunkt die Musik, die uns auf eine Art und Weise verbindet, die sich mit Worten nicht beschreiben lässt.

PDX2MUC ist ein Fragment der Zeit, festgehalten an zwei verschiedenen Orten von einzigartigen Künstlern. Mit diesem Projekt werfen wir einen Blick auf ein stetig wachsendes Genre und die unabhängige Entwicklung zweier Szenen, die sich auf dieselben Dinge fokussieren.

Die Welt dreht sich - wie die Magnetbandspulen dieses Tapes, das diese zwei entfernten Städte zusammenbringt und vereint.
